Team No Mercy Girls
Girl's Grade School Program
No Mercy Girls's Grade School Program is designed for players grades 3rd through 8th. We offer various forms of skill building based on the players current skillset. We specialize in teaching the game of basketball the correct way...by focusing on fundamentals first. For the more advanced players, we will group them together and teach more advanced concepts, while continuously challenging her to step out of her comfort zone.
3rd thru 6th Graders:
Our MAIN focus is on basketball fundamentals. Players will learn ball handling, ball handling and more ball handling. Additionally, they will learn how to pass, movement, shooting and increase basketball knowledge. This program will prepare your child for school ball and excel at school ball when they make the team. We will also evaluate the player and provide recommendations based on the player and parents basketball goals. Again, our focus is to build and maintain a strong basketball foundation. We are watchful over the player's individual development and progress, not winning basketball games.
7th and 8th Graders:
Our MAIN focus is on developing the player's current basketball skillset and increase their overall basketball IQ. If your player has not played organized basketball, we will create an individual action plan to get the player up to speed as quickly as possible. Players will focus on ball handling, ball handling and MORE ball handling. They will learn defensive principles (how and why), offensive sets/plays, shooting, spacing, passing (how, why, when, types), and basketball knowledge. Prepares the player for middle school ball and high school ball.
